• Two (02) Years work experience including one year internship
• Valid PNC License

• Must pass entrance test (2 50%)
•Those who have Passed GAT-General [HEC (HAT), NTS, and DUHS] are eligible for Entry Test, otherwise they must clear the GAT section of the Entry test separately
Eligibility Criteria for Post RN
- Matric with Science ( Physics, Chemistry and Biology Compulsory).
The two-year course is designed to prepare nurses to acquire in-depth knowledge and skills and to develop professional independence, self-control, and critical thinking. This program is offered as an evening program.

- 1 Year Diploma in Midwifery ( any post basic specialty for male in the alternative of Midwifery)
- 2 Years of Clinical Experience
- Valid PNC Registration
- Sindh Domicile
Eligibility Criteria for BS Nursing
Candidate must have done F.Sc (pre-medical) with minimum 50% marks having Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as compulsory subjects. Applicants also have passed the matriculation (science group).
This is a four-year course that you practice as a registered nurse. The course promotes integrated nursing knowledge, skills, and professional demeanor. Upon completion of this program, the graduate is ready to become a nurse. BScN students, after completing a one-year internship, can enroll with the Pakistan Council of Nursing according to the PNC internship guidelines and must pass the PNC license exam.

Post RN BSM (Bachelor of Science in Midwifery) In Dow Institute of Nursing And Midwifery
Post RN BSM is a 2-year program designed to give experience nurses the skills and qualifications to become proficient in midwifery so that they may be able to further advance their careers and serve in a competent fashion.
Students applying to the DOW Institute of Nursing for the Post RN BSM program must meet the following criteria: must have completed Matriculation in science, a diploma in nursing, a diploma in midwifery, a year of clinical experience, valid PNC registration. The program has 20 seats, with seats reserved for women only.

Masters in Science of Nursing
The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) course provides for the training of nurses, advanced training, and, in addition, the board of directors of nursing. The program broadens the perspective of students by expecting them to adopt creative interdisciplinary strategies for solving health problems and improving nursing education.
Eligibility Criteria
Anyone willing to enroll themselves into the program of Masters in Science of Nursing must meet the eligibility criteria set out by the university which is that the students of Post RN BSN must have: Post RN BSN with at least a Cumulative GPA of 2.5, one-year diploma in Post Basic Specialization from recognized nursing institute, two years’ work experience,
In the case of students holding a BSN degree, they must have 4 years BSN with at least a Cumulative GPA of 2.5, two years of work experience including a one-year internship
Both groups of students must have a Valid PNC license, must clear the GAT-General (HEC (HAT), NTS, DUHS) within 6 months of admission, and must have a Sindh domicile.

Scholarships and Financial Aid
Dow University of Health Sciences has set up a financial assistance office to assist students who are unable to pay their tuition due to financial difficulties. Financial aid, scholarships, Qarz-e-Hasna, and loans are available for basic and advanced studies in all disciplines at DUHS.
The Financial Aid Office reports all grants as advertised by donor organizations. Application forms are available from the Grant Office and should be submitted to the Grant Office.

DUHS Student Study Loan
Dow University of Health Sciences offers students financial assistance through a Student Loan that provides interest-free loans to DUHS-eligible students who experience financial difficulties that negatively impact their education. Deserving students are advised to request the application form from the Office for FINANCIAL AID, DUHS. The FAO checks the application forms and receipts and refers the relevant cases to the DUHS Student Loan Committee, which recommends the approval / non-approval and amount of the study grant to the students. The Financial Aid Office, DUHS, accepts and processes applications under this scheme.
