Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center (PKLI) have been started in Lahore with the approval of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif who provided land and funds for its construction. While It was laid at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad and also serving in KPK, Baluchistan, Azad Kasmir and Afghanistan and FATA for eleven years. Moreover, The purpose to establish this institute is to serve the poor people regarding Urology, Nephrology and Transplant programs. Many training programs for nurses will be started at undergraduate and postgraduates levels. While 322 Nursing Jobs at Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute are available for Staff Nurses/ Team Leaders/ Nurse Managers/ Deputy Director and Director of Nursing. Furthermore, 101 Nursing Assistants are also required at PKLI.

Eligibility Criteria for Nursing Jobs at Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute

Post: Staff Nurses

Number of Vacancies: 287

Specialties: Inpatient, Outpatient, Kidney Transplant, Liver Transplant,  Dialysis, OT, ICU ER, Endoscopy, Infection Control and General

Required Qualification:

• Candidates with Generic BSN and Post RN qualification will be preferred for Staff Nurse’s posts.
• General Nursing Diploma with one-year post basic specialty
• Valid PNC card

Experience: Experience not mandatory

Post: Team Leaders/ Head Nurses

Number of Seats:19

Specialties: Inpatient, Outpatient, Quality Assurance, Dialysis, OT, ICU, ER, Endoscopy, Infection Control                              

Required Qualification:

• Preference for Generic BS Nursing or Post RN from any recognized university
• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery/Specialization are also eligible
• Valid PNC card
• Diploma in Health Care Management will be considered in selection

Experience: 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Team Leader/ Head Nurse or Shift In charge.
• International experience will be advantage

Post: Clinical Nurse Managers / Deputy Nurse Manager

Required Qualification:

• Preference for Master in Nursing or equivalent

• BSN/ Post RN with specialization
• Diploma in Health Care Management
• Valid PNC card

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience as Nurse Manager from a well-reputed organization
• Introduction to JCI policies
• Foreign experience

Post: Deputy Director Nursing

Required Qualification:

• Masters degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Postgraduate in healthcare management
• Valid PNC registration

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Nursing Administration from a well-reputed organization with five years’ experience as a Nursing director in a JCI approved hospital with 300 beds.
• Foreign experience

Post: Director of Nursing

Required Qualification:

• Master’s Degree/Ph.D. in Nursing
• Postgraduate Degree in healthcare management
• Valid PNC registration

Experience:
