Riphah International University is a private sector university, chartered by the Federal Government of Pakistan in 2002. The University was established with a view to produce professionals with Islamic moral and ethical values. It is sponsored by a not-for-profit trust namely Islamic International Medical College Trust (IIMCT), which was established in 1995.The journey started in December 2007 from a college of rehabilitation Sciences in Islamabad under the faculty of Health and medical science. In June-2018 due to the exponential growth and extraordinary achievements of the institute, the Board of Governors (BOGs) of Riphah approved and established the independent Faculty of Rehabilitation and Allied Health Sciences (FRAHS). Institutes under the Faculty of Rehabilitation and Allied Health Sciences (FRAHS) at the university campuses known as Riphah College of Rehabilitation & Allied health Sciences (RCRAHS). The faculty has a great contribution to the uplifting of rehabilitation and allied health sciences by enhancing the knowledge, clinical skills, and research competencies.  RCRAHS has a significant contribution to the development of the national curriculum for the DPT program under the patronage of the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Eligibility Criteria for BS Nursing (4 year program)

• Metric with science (Physics, Biology, Chemistry as compulsory subjects) with minimum 50% marks.
• FSc pre Medical with minimum 50% marks.
• Age: 16-25 years.

Eligibility Criteria for Post RN(2 years program)

• Diploma in General Nursing.
• Diploma in Midwifery/Post Basic Specialization for males in lieu of midwifery Diploma.
• Pakistan Nursing Council PNC valid registration card/License.
• Minimum experience of 1 year as Registered Nurse.
• Gender: Female & Male.

Admission Process:

1. Applications for the relevant Academic Programs will be invited through advertisements.
2. The success of the applicants will purely be merit-based and the admission criteria for different courses will be available under separate headings of departments according to their specific requirements.
3. Provisional admission may also be granted to applicants however, if they do not fulfill the conditions of the provisional admission, the University has the authority to consider it as cancelled.

Hostel Facility:

There are two separate hostels for boys and girls. Provost Hostels is top most authority of the hostels. There are two senior resident advisors in both Male & Female hostels and one male and two female Resident Advisors work under the supervision of provost hostels. Hostel Administrator also provides the services under the custody of provost.
