The National Institute of Child Health has a remarkable story to tell, and as the Professor of Pediatric Surgery and Head, Section of Pediatric Surgery Unit-A, I am eager to share it with anyone who wants to associate in the best interest of this extraordinary institution.

The Institute had its beginnings at the Pediatric Surgery Unit in Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for years. In 1979, President Zia-ul-Haq visited the School of Pediatrics, on the request of the senior administrative authorities and declared it as the National Institute of Child Health.

Eligibility Criteria for BS Nursing (4 year Degree program)

The Applicant must meet the following mentioned criteria:

• FSc (Pre-Medical) with 50% marks minimum (Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects) are eligible to apply and appear In entrance test which will be conducted by Bahria University on particular time and date.
• Age Limit: 18-30 years
• Gender: For Females only

Eligibility Criteria for Post Basic Specialization Diploma in Nursing

1. Diploma in General Nursing from any recognized nursing examination Board.
2. Active Registration from Pakistan Nursing Council
3. Both male and female are eligible. Female candidates are preferable.
4. Domicile of Sindh.
5. Age Limit: No age restriction
6. Duration is One year
7. Candidate must submit a leaving certificate of NOC from respective department or must be applied through department.

Eligibility Criteria for House in Nursing aid Course

1. Metric with Science with at least 45% marks
2. Gender: For Females only
3. Age limit: 18-30 years
4. Duration of the course is one year
5. Candidates will be selected by qualifying enternal entrance admission test.
6. Domicile certificate PRC, Metric Original certificate and marks sheet verified and dual signed by issuing authorities.
