General Nursing (4 year)
The program of General Nursing is a three-year diploma. This course provides for the training of nurses, advanced training, and beyond that of the nursing board. Post-RN-BSN is a 2-year degree, having 4 semesters in total and 64 credit hours (4 semesters = 64 credit hours)

Generic BSN (4year)
BSN Generic degree program is a four-year degree program. After completion of 4 years of the degree, there is one year of accredited training internship which brings the total duration of the BSN Generic program degree to 5 years. BSN Generic program aims to equip students with the professional skills to become practical nurses. After these 5 years of education and internship, students will be able to give the exam to get their Pakistan Nursing Council PNC license and become an RN (registered nurses). In the BSN Generic degree program, there is a total of 8 semesters having 135 credit hours of study along with one year of internship. 8 semesters = 135 credit hours are followed by a one-year internship.
Eligibility Criteria
To enroll in the Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the Mardan Institute of Nursing a student needs to clear his HSSC examinations with at least 50% from the pre-medical group which means physics, chemistry, and biology must be included as compulsory subjects. In case a student has the equivalent qualifications from a foreign education system such as A-Levels will need an equivalency certificate from IBCC (Inter Board Chairman of Committee) which must state that the marks are equal to at least 50% from the pre-medical group.

Admission Policy
The admission process for the LHV (2year) General Nursing Diploma (3 years) Post RN BSM(2year) and Generic BSN(4year) programs in Mardan Institute of Nursing & Allied Medical Sciences is divided into three stages. The first stage includes the submission of the application to the Mardan Institute of Nursing & Allied Medical Sciences and then the students are invited to give an admission test. The admission test for Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is based on English language, Mathematics Reasoning, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Currently, the Post RN BScN admission test will include sections from English language and Nursing information, both of which are based on MCQs. In the second phase, candidates will be selected from the examination list to be submitted and will be required to submit the required documents and be required to attend a panel interview. The admission test or entrance test contains 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The entrance test or admission test contains the following parts:
