Lower Dir College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences A unique nursing institute known as Dir was founded in 2018 and is associated with Khyber Medical University in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pakistan Nursing Council, the Health Foundation, the Security Exchange of Pakistan, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Authority. The Generic BSn four-year degree programme, Post RN BSN two-year degree programme, LHV two-year diploma program, CMW one-year diploma programme, and Pead’s specialty one-year diploma programme are the four programmes that DCN now provides. The college’s setting is serene and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.

Facilities:
The Dir College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences is situated on five acres and has a built-in area of 33 Marla. It has science labs, skill labs, computer labs, and well-ventilated lecture halls with comfortable seating and a variety of modern and traditional teaching tools, including a blackboard, LCD projectors, and overhead projectors. This lab has a good selection of computers and internet access that students can utilize for research. Access to e-journals, the anatomical lab, and the library are all provided. The prayer room and student indoor and outdoor games are two additions that enhance its charm.
