Fauji Foundation School of Nursing was established in 1979. It was running regular diploma courses and has now being upgraded to Foundation University College of Nursing (FUCN). FUCN will be a constituent college of Foundation University. It is under process of recognition by Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) and will be affiliated with Nursing Examination Board Punjab.
We are committed to establish high standards for nursing Education in Pakistan. FUCN has contemporary teaching and learning facilities with well equipped class rooms, Libraries (FUCN, FUMC & FFH), computer lab with internet facility, skill labs, basic sciences lab and auditorium. It is attached with Fauji Foundation Teaching Hospital for clinical teaching and a well-furnished girls hostel with indoor recreational facilities. The college of nursing believes in delivering excellence in practice and learning. Our ability to add to your academic and social skills will allow you to lead in your professional career. Eligibility Criteria for BSN:
Following requirements of the Pakistan Nursing Council & Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) must be met by all the applicants seeking admission in the Nursing programs.
- FSc (Pre-Medical) Minimum 50% marks from a recognized Board OR A-Level Certification and equivalence certificate from IBCC.
- Male / Female
- Age: 17-25 years
- Admission test and interview

- HSSC or an equivalent foreign qualification certificate (one copy).
- SSC Result Card (one copy).
- HSSC Result Card (one copy).
- CNIC/Form B of the candidate (one copy).
- CNIC of Father/Spouse/Guardian (one copy).
- Bank draft of Rs. 1000/- as processing fee.
- Four Recent Passport Size color Photographs.
- Copy of pension book of father in case of Beneficiaries.
- FF Employees to provide service certificate duly signed / certified by the relevant FF authority.
- Photocioy of Domicile.

- Diploma in General Nursing (3 Years) with minimum of 2nd division
- Diploma in Midwifery (1 year) any One Year Post Basic Specialty for male in lieu of Diploma Midwifery
- Matric with Science/Arts as per HEC Requirement
- 1 year clinical experience
- Valid PNC Registration
- Male / Female
- Admission test and interview

It is the responsibility of all those candidates having foreign qualifications i.e. other than Matric/FSc (Pre-Medical) from Pakistan, to obtain recognition of their qualifications and equivalence certificates from the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Islamabad.
